Christmas Eve

Since we didn't go home this year for Christmas-due to the fact that we are moving in a week-I wanted to do something fun with the boys. Rhet is loving Santa and goes around the house saying his name, so even though he sat on Santa's lap at our ward Christmas party we had to go see him again. We headed to Bass Pro and while I waited in line the boys were off doing all the fun activities they had. There was a snowball fight, shooting guns, playing with trucks, driving the train, and Kade's favorite, playing a hunting and fishing game on the Wii. As we became second in line to see Santa Rhet could not contain his excitement. He couldn't believe Santa was there and he was jumping out of his pants he was so excited. Kade and Rand didn't want anything to do with him but Mont was pretty excited as well and it was so cute to see him and Rhet tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas.

After seeing Santa we sped on over to the ice rink for some ice skating. Being somewhat unprepared with only a sweatshirt to keep them warm the boys had a great time.

Kade not doing too bad.

Look no hands! If we had stayed any longer the boys hands probably would have fallen off it was so cold.

Slow and steady.

No more wall for Mont, just a chair for balance.

Rhet doing it the right way-letting dad push while he enjoys the ride.

Rand's no dummie! Why do all the work when that's what dad is for. Here we go...choo choo!

There was a box of helmets the boys could put on to keep them safe and Mont and Rhet snagged them up.

What a cutie patutie! Look at that swag he's got go'n on.

Rhet loved ice skating and had lots of fun but needed mom for a minute to get warmed up.

When we were all done skating the Zamboni came onto the ice and the boys were infatuated with it. They thought it was so cool and Rhet even wanted to take it for a ride.

We worked up an appetite while ice skating so we stopped at Costa Vida for some lunch.

Yum yum in my tum!

Rand loves this place and calls it the wave. Mostly he loves the ranch dressing that he dips his cheese quessadilla into.

Somehow Rhet never wants to eat his food but would rather eat his brothers. I don't get it because they are exactly the same-little stink bug!
