Saturday Highlights

The boys love Saturdays as it is their day to lounge around the house and watch tv as well as play the wii and computer.  I don't mind it too much but then there comes a time when they need to get outside and do something-anything.  Lately the boys have enjoyed playing in the front yard and playing football.  So, with the tv off they headed for the front yard.

Rhet minding his own business when he gets hit by the football.  When you're 4 everything is on purpose.

Later after dinner, we all came outside-this time without the football but rather a woffle ball.  

Elle joined us too but had to bring her shopping cart. 

She loves this cart and loves to put her purse, shoes and blanket inside. 

Since it was getting darker and the ball was harder to see Keith decided to have the boys do a hand stand contest.  Rand won the first round even though he did a head stand.

Round 2-Rand still wins

Round 3-Rand won again but Mont won the perfect V.  Elle wanted in on the fun as well, and though she couldn't do a hand stand she sure could do a somersault.

Ta da-on her belly.  

After our fun time outside it was time for bed.  Rhet has a hard time going to bed when he is told.  It seems he has to have 10 drinks cause he's sooo thirsty and has to come down and tell me something or ask a question he already knows the answer to.  As Keith and I just ignored him I could see from my seat that he was getting his blanket and laying it out nice and smoothly on the landing.  When his blanket was perfect he laid on top holding his head up with one of his hands while he watched tv with us from his spot.  By the time Keith and I headed upstairs Rhet had fallen asleep.  --This is not a first for him to sleep here in this spot. It has happened on many occasion.
