Tonight for FHE we decided to carve pumpkins. We haven't done this activity for a couple of years as Keith has been out of town and I like to put him in charge of helping the boys (-you know, that father son bonding, because they already see enough of me!) Keith got them started by cutting out the top and told the boys to clean it out. When it came to cleaning out the pumpkins I swear my boys turned into little girls. No one wanted to put their hands inside with all that slime.
Rand being brave!
Kade holding his hand like he has a disease.
Discovered the spoon can work miracles.
Rhet thinking the whole thing is pretty gross. Not going to go anywhere near that slimy stuff.
Mont's pumpkin all cleaned out.
Elle carving her little pumpkin too.
Boys drawing their faces on and cutting them out.
Dad keeping Elle away from all the knives by tickling her.
While at the grocery store we saw these pumpkin cakes that had all different kinds of faces. This was Rhet's favorite face so we decided to buy it and have it for dessert.
