Rhet's Birthday

I can't believe my little boy is 4.  He is such a character and the things that he has picked up from his older brothers and (do I dare say) the tv is so random.  His new phase that he says lately is, "That's awkward."  I don't even think he knows what it means but he goes around saying it.  He has really been excited for his birthday and besides all the toys that he's told me he wanted he definitely wanted to go to Chili's for dinner.

It's my birthday...oh yea!

Crazy!

Silly face for Rhet!

Very serious face for all his presents.  Do you see a theme?

Captain America.  Every time we went to Target we had to go to the toy isle so he could see all the Captain America stuff and each time he had to put on the mask and shield.  He even loves the movie.

We were at the store where he saw this hat and wore it the entire time we were there.  I bought it then and there and told him it was for Christmas.

And of course he had to have his Captain America cake.

Loving blowing out the candles.

A few days later Grandma came into town and brought him his gifts.  A big yellow flashlight beat out all the Captain America toys.  Just look at his face.  He even went to bed with it.

Aunt Caden also came and brought his gift.  Flippers for the pool.  He's even pretending he's deep sea diving...and with his flashlight no less.

What a fun birthday.  He makes us laugh constantly and we sure do love him!
