Girls Day Out

Each month my friend Shelley has a scrapbooking night at her house and there are four of us that are die hards and go each month. How could you not go, we bring treats to share and stay up to midnight scrapbooking-okay mostly we talk and scrapbook a little but heck it's not just the fact that we talk and scrapbook-there are NO kids!!!! Well, for Christmas Shelley gave each of us a gift certificate to get a pedicure. The only requirement was that we all had to go together. I'm totally okay with that idea! Our friend Stephanie is moving to Idaho and so we thought it would be a great idea to take her to lunch before she left and then get pedicures. What could be more fun than that? We went to lunch first-good thing cause a pregnant lady is always hungry. As we were leaving the restaurant to get our pedicures my friend Angela got a call from another friend telling her that Kohls was having it's 90% off sale that day. Okay, so we rushed to get our pedicures done-which it's so nice to have your feet/legs rubbed and pampered when your pregnant-or for that matter anytime-especially when your husband refuses to touch your feet. So after all our toes looked pretty we sped to Kohls for their sale items. How fun was that day!- to have lunch, get a little bit of tlc and then end on a shopping note. I don't think anything could have been better. Our friend Stephanie will surely be missed but it was a great day to spend with her before she left.
