As usual we went down to Mesa for Christmas, but before we left we had our own Christmas. It was fun to watch the boys open their gifts and see the reaction on their faces. The way the boys reacted to their gifts I think "Santa" did well in shopping this year. It was so great for two days-the boys played with their new toys, there was hardly any fighting and everyone was able to keep themselves entertained. Oh, if everyday could be like those two days!!! Well, we made it home for Christmas and spent the first part of Christmas Eve with the Packers, and the second half with the Ashs-that is from 9pm-Christmas morning. We then went back over to Packers for more gifts and the fun Christmas breakfast which consists of waffles and any topping you want-including ice cream-the boys loved that!!! Oh, but the caramel topping that Diana makes is literally to die for, it is so dang good! Keith was able to talk to Steven who is serving his mission in Washington, but will be home in four short months...how time flys by. The boys had a great time not only opening new toys, but getting to play with their cousins-especially Nathan and Jacob who live in Texas who they don't see very often. They were wonderful enough to bring with them their Wii and Kade loved that thing. Good thing Grandma Ash got one as well for her house because it kept Kade content the entire week. Actually we all loved it and loved competing with each other. We even made our own characters. The holidays are a great time to be with family and I am just glad that for me I was able to get through it.
Here are a few pictures of our Christmas week:

Since all the Ashs were home this year-Tate from his mission and a newly added member-Brady Pope, mom, thought it would be a fun idea to take a family picture. The Ash Family

The Packer Family-okay so I'm not to thrilled with this picture because I look pregnant and we all know what it means when we "look pregnant"
